01. IAFF MOTORCYCLE GROUP LOGO/PATCH

This is the design that was accepted for the new I.A.F.F. Motorcycle Group. The new motorcycle riding group was formed this year and held an inaugural ride and unveiling in Las Vegas in June. If you are a member of the International Association of Firefighters and own a motorcycle, join the group and order the patch for your vest on their website, IAFF.org

Surrey Fire Rescue Apparatus Door Decal.
Submit your ideas or let us design them for you. Designs can be made with City/Town Geographical, History ideas.
Decals are 1/4 the cost of hand painting logos and names on apparatus.

03a. HELMET & MASK DESIGN

04. SURREY FIRE DEPARTMENT LOGO.
This is a typical FD Issue T-Shirt Logo. Used for identification on department issued clothing. Normally one colour, Blue on White Shirts or White on a Blue Shirt. This is strictly for cost reasons but other logos can be designed with two or multiple designs.

05. FIRE DEPARTMENT SHOULDER PATCH.

This is the second patch I designed for the City of Surrey. Due to the lack of any artistic appreciation, the previous person in charge, omitted the slits in the Maltese Cross and subsituted them with stiches.
I would advise against this.

06. SFD COMPANY PATCH - ENGINE 9
This is a new design for Surrey Fire Dept #9. It houses Engine 9, Air & Lighting Unit 9 and is also a Technical Rescue Station. It also houses POD 9. A vehicle that carries different containers ie: one container is a technical Rescue Unit that stores all equipment for that purpose.
The area was establish in the early 1900's by the Sullivan family, obviously from Ireland. Battalion Chief Brian Sullivan is still on the Job as was Battalion Michael Sullivan and Captain Richard Sullivan.

07. FIRE CHIEF FIRE DEPT SHOULDER PATCH

Previous Surrey Fire Rescue Shoulder Patch. In most parts of Canada the fire patches are the same design but Chief's patches are gold, or yellow. Sometimes only the outside border is gold.

07a. FIRE DEPT UNIFORM FIRE PATCHES

First SFD Shoulder Patch. As the same with apparatus door decals, shoulder patches can be designed with your city or town's history or geography applied. Submit your own ideas or let us come up with a new design for your Fire Department.

08. FIRE DEPARTMENT COMPANY PATCH

SFD Engine 1. This is an example of a Fire Department Company Patch. If you need custom logos for Company patches, Apparatus Decals or T-Shirts. Cartoons, animals, skulls, Maltese Crosses or any designed can be created.

09. FIRE RELATED LOGO AND ARTWORK

This is my own OFFICIAL MADMYK LOGO.
I did not draw the actual characature though! Any fire related graphics can be designed according to your needs, especially if the theme is also motorcycling.

10. SFD APPARATUS DOOR DECAL
SFD Door Door Decal on Battalion One. I drew this around 1998. This is used on all SFD Firefighting apparatus and administration vehicles.

11. SFD COMPANY LOGO - ENGINE 9
The Fight'n 9 Logo embedded in Dinner Table. This is the second edition of this artwork. The first, was destroyed when the acrylic clear coat became too hot and it burned the piece and hardened with thousands of bubbles! Designed in 2006.

12. SFD COMPANY LOGO - ENGINE 9 LOGO
This is the original Fight'n 9 logo destroyed after clear acrylic went wrong. The Fight'n Irishman was hand carved from a slab of Pine. This Station houses E9 and 2 special units - AIR9 (in the Maple Leaf) and POD9 (in the Shamrock). Sullivan Station 9 is named after the Sullivan family that founded this area of Surrey. 3 Brothers, Mike, Brian and Richard all served in the SFD and retired Battalion Chief's.

13. SURREY FIRE RESCUE SHOULDER PATCHES
Surrey Fire Rescue - Chief & Firefighter's patches. This is an example of the two different coloured patches worn in Canadian Fire Departments.

14. FIRE DEPARTMENT BELT BUCKLE
I designed the logo really, it was just stuck in the middle of the buckle.
I have designed in metel however. Any design can be created for Belt Buckles.

15. FIREFIGHTER WALLET BADGE

Wallet Badge for Captain, Lieutenant and Firefighter. Again, in Canada the distinction between Chief's and Firefighters is represented by the different colour badges. This Badge is a perfect wallet size at 2-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches.

16. BATTALION CHIEF WALLET BADGE.
Like most Canadian shoulder patches, Chief and Firefighter's badges are also different. Firefighters (including Officers) have silver and Chief's have gold badges. A Battalion Chief is the highest rank in the SFD union.

17. FIRE DEPARTMENT SHOULDER PATCH

The SFD has had a lot of changes 'for the good' since a recent change at the Helm. Four men on an Engine, Going back to RED, and a Maltese Cross that actually looks like a Maltese Cross! The patch is now a little smaller and the slits of the cross are now open like they were designed to be in the first place.
This is a 3rd generation design of my original Surrey Fire Patch drawn around 1990.

18. FIRE DEPARTMENT GRAFIX

Every Fire Department has many divisions, sports, apparatus etc. All can have fire grafix design for them such as this Critical Incident Stress Logo I designed for 'Klinger'

19. SOAPSTONE CARVINGS

This is a Soapstone Carving of Firefighter for an Award. Unique awards can be carved for retirements, gifts, achievments or sports awards. Carvings are made from soapstone. I have carved firefighters but mostly carve polar bears, whales, grizzlies for sports awards such as golf, hockey and softball tourny's

23. MOBILE MODEL TRAINING TOWNS

Mobile Model Training Towns - For Table Top Exercises. There are generally 3 sections that are butted together to make an area 6 feet by 5 feet. The covers of each section also double as the stand so the town can be set up at any Station in your city. You can also have just the table top for use at a permanent facility. The town's features include examples of different types of building construction, road patterns, creeks, railways, storm sewers, below grade, berms, hydrants, landscaping, hydro poles & kiosks, and if your city has any, water front.

24. MODEL FIRE APPARATUS

Various Fire Aparatus for Table Top Training Town. Apparatus with your colors and designations. The photo above is a fleet of apparatus for the Vancouver Fire Rescue Services. They purchased over 100 Fire Apparatus, Police Vehicles, Ambulances, right down to Gas and Hydro Utility Vans. Transport vehicles, pick ups, cars and boats. Any style, color or markings can be replicated.

25. FIRE DEPARTMENT FLEETS

Fleet of Fire Apparatus for Table Top Town Training, Critiques, Pre-Fire Planning. This is Vancouver's fleet. The fleet represents each unit of the Vancouver Fire Rescue Services.
I can replicate your vehicles (styles, colours) or use basic designs for Engines, Ladders, Towers, Rescues and specialty apparatus such as Air/Lighting, Haz-Mat, Tech Rescue, Tankers, Pods, Vans, Command and Chief's Unit.

26. FIRE DEPARTMENT SHOULDER PATCH

Westside Fire Rescue, B.C. This was designed for Chief Wayne Schnitzler of Westside Fire Rescue, B.C. Just another example of different shapes and grafix that you can have made into your own unique patch.

27. CLUB LOGO DESIGN
Boyz Club Logo. Drawn around 1998. The Boyz Club is a group of buddies that meet for beers and play Sports Pools, Poker, Golf and catch the occasional fish. A mixture of Guys from various professions, was founded by Big Al Witts many years ago in Richmond. Rest in peace Al, we miss you Fella.
